Meet Elise Milam

 Too often I witness myself and others struggle with processing painful experiences, memories, trauma, PTSD, both repressed and suppressed emotions. None of these are easy to confront, comfortable to sit with, and are often buried deep. What I know to be true about the human experience is: we don't heal alone, we heal in community. Community breathwork allows the spaciousness and support to soften, release, heal and expand in a safe container.

I was introduced to conscious breathwork in February of 2020.

At that time, I couldn't handle my stress levels. I was barely coping with multiple relationships ending, a jarring job transition, isolation, and other extreme life changes beyond my control, as many experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic. Guided breathwork offered me the permission to unwind, surrender, release, and shift false narratives and unsupportive stories that weren't serving me. Breathwork immediately and effectively melts stress, tension, anxiety and fear from the inside out. Breathwork profoundly shifts deep emotional wounds, chronic pain, stress and anxiety of all kinds in as little as 15 - 60 minutes.

 

I have touched extraordinary moments of peace, clarity, connection, joy & bliss both during and post breathwork sessions. These moments keep me devoted to my practice & to holding space for others. My enthusiasm and passion for exploring alternative treatment, holistic healthcare, energy medicine and sharing the power of conscious breathwork is tangible, heartfelt, and contagious.

My hope is that you feel inspired to live more joyfully. Another great aspect is, there is no wrong way to do breathwork. Different styles, techniques and methods of integration will appeal to various people: yin (calming), yang (energizing), integrative sessions (under 15 minutes), meditative journeys (over 15 minutes), transformative and holotropic breathwork are all wonderfully unique and serve a purpose. What they all have in common is: they relax the mind, soften the body, open the heart, and enrich life by increasing the depth and quality of one's presence.
